The wallpaper held secrets of a thousand whispered confessions, each rose pattern a tiny mouth waiting to bloom into smoke. when i painted this scene, i thought about how rooms become vessels for our darkest thoughts - how they absorb our fears like nicotine stains on ceiling tiles. the pink door stood as a portal between two states of being, where black smoke wrote letters to white smoke across dimensions of floral-printed emptiness. it reminded me of magritte's 'unexpected answer', but here the holes weren't carved into doors - they were carved into reality itself..
