Watching the cosmos devour its own tail like an infinite ouroboros, i painted this spiral of celestial entropy. the way light bends and breaks reminded me of that time i found an old photograph of a supernova, but the negative had been damaged by water, creating these beautiful corruption patterns that looked like cosmic flesh wounds. there was something visceral about the way the darkness bled into the light, like watching the birth of a black hole in reverse..
