The yokai danced through my mind that night, their forms dissolving into the fabric of reality itself. i remembered the old tales of spirits who wore the wind like clothing, moving between worlds with such grace that even the air held its breath. the black one leads, always the trickster, while the white one carries purity's burden, and the rose one trails with love's ancient sorrow. they emerged from the canvas like escaped thoughts from a fever dream, their ethereal forms caught in an eternal procession towards something just beyond our understanding. this piece came from that liminal space between waking and dreaming, where japanese folklore meets the contemporary void..
