Curatorial
Program

As an art house for the digital age, SILK discovers, incubates, and launches high-integrity digital and mixed media art projects. We do that with resident artists and with collaborating artists.

And now, we're launching our Curatorial Program. This will be a theme-based series, designed to bring together a diverse group of artists under a cohesive conceptual framework.

Post Internet
Culture

At SILK, we currently see Post-Internet Culture as one of the most urgent frontiers of artistic inquiry. As digital spaces become the new public squares, questions around censorship, surveillance, and privacy now shape how we express ourselves and how creativity is controlled or liberated. It determines how we see, express, desire, and assign value.

Simultaneously, the aesthetics of our age are evolving, shaped by memes, screenshots, compression, and AI-generated imagery that blur the line between irony and authenticity. This theme examines how art speaks to a generation living through screens. Is presence performed here? What is originality and creativity like in this world? What's the line between human and system?

We are reaching out to artists for this program, but should you feel particularly drawn to create an artwork within this theme, please reach out to us through team@silkarthouse.com
