This September, SILK returns to Istanbul for Contemporary Istanbul. Alongside our presentation at the fair, we will host a special gathering at Komünite in Kadıköy, welcoming Fvckrender and fellow artists, collectors, curators and friends for an evening together. Presented in partnership with Paribu Art and Paribu Studio, Silk Road Day 05 will bring our international community into conversation with the city’s contemporary and digital art scene.
Free attendance, by invitation. Registration is subject to host approval.

Beyond the exhibition floor
At the fair, SILK will present Cabinet of Curiosities, a solo presentation of Fvckrender’s work that brings his rendered worlds into dialogue with sculpture and physical editions. It forms part of UNCONTAINED, our wider curatorial framework following artistic ideas as they take shape across different media and materials.
The gathering will extend these encounters beyond the exhibition floor, offering time to speak with the artists and exchange thoughts on the work seen throughout the week. Fvckrender will join us in person, with further participating artists to be announced.
The evening
A panel moderated by Justin Gilanyi of SILK Art House will open the evening’s programme, followed by an informal gathering and a DJ set. We look forward to welcoming familiar faces and those joining the Silk Road community for the first time.
